Week 1 Daily At-a-Glance:

Day 1: Launch the Treasure Hunt (Ephesians 2:10)

Focus: God’s intentional creation—”For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works.”
Activities: Read/underline verse 2x, circle “we” words, highlight verbs/nouns, crack code (DE TALR CS → “created”), word study on “workmanship” (poima = made with love/care). Cross-references: Isaiah 64:8, 1 Cor 3:9, 2 Cor 5:14-21, John 15:16-17.
Takeaway: You are God’s purposeful masterpiece, not an accident—designed with unique gifts to make a difference.

Day 2: Formed with Extra Care (Genesis 1-2)

Focus: God hands-formed humans uniquely from dust, breathing life (Gen 1:1-31, 2:7).
Activities: Re-read Eph 2:10, discuss creation, trace “I am made in the image of God” (Gen 1:27), pray/thank God, draw God’s creations.
Takeaway: God took special hands-on care creating you (unlike speaking other things into being), making you feel uniquely precious.

Day 3: Knit Together in Wonder (Psalm 139:13-16)

Focus: “Fearfully and wonderfully made”—God knits you in the womb (yare = awe; pala = one-of-a-kind).
Activities: Re-read Eph 2:10, read Psalm 139, reflect on unique talents/what makes you special, connect to God’s creativity/care.
Takeaway: Every detail of you was lovingly formed by God in your mother’s womb. You’re special, on-purpose, irreplaceable.

Day 4: Reflect God’s Glory (2 Corinthians 3-4)

Focus: Becoming like Christ through time with Him; reflect His glory like a mirror (2 Cor 3:18, 4:7).
Activities: Read 2 Cor 3-4, discuss “reflect,” draw self in mirror showing God’s traits (kindness, prayer), do one loving action.
Takeaway: Spending time with God transforms you to reflect His love/glory outwardly through daily choices.

Day 5: Treasure in Clay Jars (Jeremiah 1, Matthew 22, 1 Peter 1)

Focus: Inner treasure (God’s power/salvation) in fragile “jars of clay”; value from God, worth from Christ’s blood.
Activities: Read verses, crack codes, draw treasures in clay jars, discuss value vs. worth, solve weekly puzzle (“God made me in His image and gives me unique purpose”).
Takeaway: You carry priceless treasure (Jesus) inside; live it out by loving God/neighbor, fulfilling your God-given purpose.
